Exercise helps prepare the body for labor and delivery and is also proven to aid in postnatal recovery. Based on the Physique 57 technique, Pre/Postnatal Physique is a unique program that combines light cardio, strength training and stretching to meet the needs of women during pregnancy as well as their body's needs to recover post-pregnancy.

In an intimate 57-minute class, clients will be guided through a series of low-impact exercises that will improve muscle tone, strength, endurance, flexibility and circulation. Since your body is undergoing significant changes in a short period of time, this class will address the resulting muscle imbalances. You will gently work through your entire body to strengthen and lengthen the muscle groups that support the postural changes during pregnancy and that help bring your body back to proper alignment post-pregnancy including the glutes, hamstrings, inner thighs, pelvic floor, abdominals and the upper and lower back. This class will build your strength from the inside out developing the deep core strength necessary for both childbirth and to rehabilitate the body after delivery.

Pre and postnatal clients will learn modifications for signature Physique 57 positions that can be applied to any Physique 57 class. Clients are encouraged to ask questions to ensure that they are exercising safely throughout their pregnancy as well as after delivery. You will leave class feeling confident and invigorated with a stronger, more flexible body.
