I have a 2 year old; I have a baby on the way now. The fact that I'm still able to go to class, you know, 4 or 5 times a week, I'm still able to make it through. I have a personal sense of accomplishment. I feel like I'm doing something good not only for me, for this baby that's on the way.
There's not that many programs out there that you can stay that close to the original regimen and still be pregnant. You know with yoga it's hard, you can't lay down on your stomach, there's a lot of restrictions. With Physique the modifications are slight but you're still targeting everything, you're still doing the exercises with everyone in class just small modifications. And I love that. I think it's really really great not having to feel restricted just because I'm having a child.
With Physique there's the fun factor. Class goes really fast it's just set, to set, to set, to set. And because the instructors work their way around and go to everyone... a little personal attention, you almost feel like you're in a private lesson. It's more bang for your buck I guess. You're getting the results, you're paying less than you would with a personal trainer and it's fun. It's a sense of community there and I really really enjoy that. I think it's hard for people to find that with a work out. You want results and you want them now.
Physique does that absolutely. You get that little bulge of muscle, and like, the nice toning on your thighs. You can wear the shorter skirts, you can wear the slim dresses and you feel really confident. It's great. My husband said "I can't believe it you keep coming home, and I can't think you can look better, but you do". I am going to get the results because I want to and that sense of self of self gets stronger with every class.
